Four Green River Community College students from Enumclaw are performing in the March production of "Guys and Dolls" at the college's new Performing Arts Building.
Tyler Morrow, Robin Taylor, Stephanie Flatt, Sedona Capellaro and other advanced students for the college's drama and music departments are singing and dancing in the classic Broadway musical. The college production is directed by drama instructor Gary Taylor, the community orchestra leader is Darrell Eide and former GRCC student Nicole Lorayne is the choreographer.
"Guys and Dolls" first opened on Broadway in 1950 and played 1,200 performances in its initial run. It has been revived several times, including a 1992 production with Nathan Lane that ran for 1,143 shows.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Tickets are $8 for general admission, $6 for seniors. Call 253-833-9111 ext. 2400 for tickets or more information.
