A 42-year-old man was killed early Saturday in a snowmobiling accident near Greenwater. Alcohol was said to be a factor in the accident.

The man was identified by the King County Medical Examiner's Office as Bryce Ciesinski.

The accident took place in the early hours of Saturday morning near the Pierce and King county border in the Mount Rainier foothills.

Ciesinski was said to have been driving 25 or 30 miles per hour, but was believed to have been intoxicated Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer said. His body was found by searchers at the bottom of an embankment in a creek. His snowmobile apparently crushed him. An autopsy was performed Monday.
