Church sponsoring Hanson Brothers concert Sunday

The Hanson Brothers will provide a one-hour concert beginning at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Finn Hall, 10411 234th Ave. E. The concert is sponsored for the community by Foothills United Methodist Church.

Performing throughout the state, The Hanson Brothers repertoire includes jazz, gospel and hymns.

Admission is free but there will be a suggested donation of a canned food item for a local food bank.

“This is only one of the three community Christmas events we are sponsoring this year,” said Patti Kneeland, lay leader of Foothills Church. An early Christmas Eve service at 2:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, is open to all and will be focused on children, youth and their parents. The church also hosts a “Classical Christmas Eve” service at 7 tonight, complete with carols and a candlelight communion at the créche.
