Rotary club honors Koplitz and Meagher

The Enumclaw Rotary Club recognized two area students as Students of the Month at its Feb. 19 meeting.

Mara Koplitz, daughter of Marla and Steve Koplitz of Enumclaw, was the recipient from Enumclaw High School. A student with a 4.0 grade-point average and a National Honor Society Member, Koplitz she been part of the high school leadership team and a four-year athlete in both basketball and golf (2008 state championship golf team). She plans on attending a four-year university and studying either sports medicine or education.

Bailey Meagher, daughter of Jeff and Cathy Meagher of Bonney Lake, was the recipient from White River High School. Taking advanced placement psychology and English classes, she is also a member of Key Club, the Connections program and a 10-year Girl Scout. She plans to attend Central Washington University in Ellensburg to study education.
