Enumclaw Mayor John Wise has instituted a twice-a-month “koffee klatch” and is inviting the public to drop by to chat about matters important to the city.

“It’s a way for the public to let me know if we’re headed in the right direction or not,” Wise said. “It’s an opportunity to get the public more involved.”

The first session is slated for 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, at the city library. Subsequent sessions will be the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month, all at the library.
