Something to Snout About

Alex Thomas is one of 39 fellow Enumclaw High FFA members and Ganados 4-H Club members busily preparing for the Northwest Junior Livestock Show and Sale, April 16-19, at the Western Washington Fairgrounds in Puyallup. The sale and show is a 63-year-old tradition for local youth, who raise animal projects – lambs, hogs and steers – for months. The South King County Buyers Committee is looking for community members interested in buying all or a portion of an animal for their freezer or for donations to support the program. For information, contact John Shine, buyers’ committee chairman at 253-804-6983. - Photo courtesy John Shine
