Buckley City Council will host a public hearing Tuesday to take public input on their recent decision to hire an interim hearing examiner.
The hearing is set for 7 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Center, as part of the regularly-scheduled council meeting.
Millie Judge has already been selected as Buckley's interim hearing examiner.
Tuesday's meeting "is just a formality in that the council wanted to get some feedback as to how the public felt about having an examiner, period," City Administrator David Schmidt said.
"If at some time Buckley's citizens encourage the city council to work on an ordinance for a permanent hearing examiner, we might keep Judge on full time," Schmidt said.
