Bonney Lake is looking for a few good men or women.

The City Council established a salary commission at its Feb. 10 meeting. Three people from the community will gather to assess the salaries of elected officials.

Mayor Bob Young is requesting anyone who is interested to drop by City Hall at 19306 Bonney Lake Blvd. and fill out an application.

The salary commission will look at city council members' and the mayor's salaries and decide to either raise or cut wages.

Meetings will be public. Citizens unhappy with the decision can file a petition within 30 days sending the issue to the ballot at the next general election.
