Enumclaw resident Susanne Robertson will be signing her latest book "The Throw Away Child" from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lindon Bookstore in Enumclaw.

"The Throw Away Child" is Robertson's first novel. The story is based on her experiences and the abuses of being raised in a Roman Catholic orphanage in upstate New York. Robertson lived in St. Colman's Home for boys and girls in Watervliet, New York, from 1957 to 1964.

It has received high reviews from readers on barnesandnoble.com, where it has sold out of its first printing.
