Ten trees
April 30, 2009 · Updated 3:50 PM
Ten new trees were recently planted in three city parks, replacing some of the damage done by December's wind storm. Above, city employees Ian Nissan and Steve Johnson plant a tree at McFarland Park. The city received $1,000 - enough for 10 new trees - thanks to a grant provided by King County and the Forest Service. Trees were planted at McFarland, Montgomery and Veterans Memorial parks. Approximately 30 trees were lost during the wind storm. Photo courtesy city of Enumclaw
