Fugitive Alert: Authorities seek public help
The Courier-Herald will each week be running a photograph and information relating to a fugitive wanted by the state Department of Corrections' Absconder Recovery Unit. The fugitives described here are convicted felons and should be considered dangerous. They have served jail time and been released; they have failed to meet court-ordered conditions. Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to contact the Fugitive Tip Line at 253-931-6322; information is kept confidential.
Pictured at right is Larry D. Barnes, 54, last seen June 24, 2003, in Enumclaw. He is 6 feet, 2 inches and 200 pounds. He is wanted for probation violations stemming from his convictions for burglary, possession of an incendiary device and controlled substance abuse fraud.
