County sets plan meeting agenda
April 30, 2009 · Updated 4:04 PM
Two additional public meetings on the King County Comprehensive Plan update have been scheduled for January. One of those meetings will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Black Diamond Community Center, 31605 Third Ave.
The King County Comprehensive Plan, the guiding land use document for unincorporated King County, can be amended each year for technical, or routine, amendments. Every fourth year, the plan can be amended for substantive amendments. The next four-year cycle amendment, or major amendment, occurs in 2004.
Visit the Department of Development and Environmental Services Web site at www.metrokc.gov/ddes/compplan to view the Public Review Draft amendments. The comment period concludes Jan. 30.
