No. 2 police officer placed on leave; city will investigate

The second highest ranking officer in the Bonney Lake Police Department, Lt. Michael Strozyk, was placed on administrative leave as of Nov. 25, by Chief of Police Bryan Jeter. According to Mayor Bob Young, "The officer was placed on leave pending an internal investigation."

The city has not reported the reason for the action. The only information released is that the entire investigation will be handled within the department.
