Santa truck is again planned for Buckley

The Buckley Volunteer Firefighters Association will be having its annual Santa truck driving through the streets of Buckley beginning Dec. 15 and running through through Dec. 19.

Santa and the truck will visit Buckley citizens, handing out candy canes and accepting canned food donations for the Buckley Food Bank. The Santa Truck will also be accepting toys and other donations for the community giving tree as part of the firefighters association's Santa Program.

The Santa Truck will begin each night at 6 p.m. and finish by about 8:30 p.m. It will try to stay on the following schedule:

Dec. 15: Naches Street, Second Street, Third Street, Fourth Street, Cascade Street, Edith Street, Norma Street, Fulton Street, Hatch Street, Meadowbrook Mobile Home Park, Rosewood Drive, Rosewood Court, Park Place Manor, Mountain Circle, Fourth Avenue, Park Avenue, Dundass Avenue, Balm Avenue, Main Street west of state Route 410, Mason Avenue west of 410, Hinkleman and Hinkleman Extension, Wheeler Avenue and Jefferson Avenue west of 410.

Dec. 16: 112th Street, River Street from "A" Street to Ryan Road, Pearl Street, Mill Street, Perkins Street, Division Street, Cedar Street, Cottage Street, Ashley Court, "A" Street, Jefferson Avenue from state Route 410 to "A" Street, Mountainview Avenue, Ryan Road from River Street to Spiketon Road, Mason Avenue from Pearl Street to "A" Street, Main Street from 410 to "A" Street, Spiketon Road from Ryan Road to Mountainview

Dec. 17: "B" Street, "C" Street, "D" Street, Rainier Street, Elsa Street, Monte Vista Street, Spruce Street, Shamrock Court, Hamilton Court, Hamilton Place, Franklin Street, Mason Avenue from "A" Street to Spruce Street, Main Street from "A" Street to Collins Road, Collins Road between Rainier Street and Shamrock Court

Dec. 18: Copperwynd, Whitemore Way, Heather Lane, Sergeant Street, Mellish Place, View Place, Collins Road between Main Street and McNeeley Street, McNeeley Street, Fieldcrest Place

Dec. 19: Ryan Road from Spiketon Road to Levesque, Rose Place, Bevlo Street, Sheets Road, Klink Street, Rainier State School, Shay Estates and anything else the Santa Truck has missed along the way.
