City residents with excess trash piled in the garage or basement - items that never seem to make it to the curb for weekly collection - are urged to take advantage of the city of Enumclaw's 2003 residential neighborhood clean-up.

It's an annual event and begins Monday.

Each residential city garbage customer will be allowed to set out additional trash, without additional cost, on their normal pick-up day. Crews will haul away most garbage, with the exception of hazardous waste, liquids, propane tanks, tires, yard waste, timbers larger than four inches in diameter, rocks and concrete. All loose trash must be in a container no larger than 32 gallons, and must be at the curb prior to 6 a.m.

Anyone with questions can contact the city at 360-825-5541.
