Green River Community College at Enumclaw is offering the Disney movie "Spirited Away," as a free and fun event for the entire family.

Awarded an Oscar for best animation, "Spirited Away" is the story of a young girl trapped in a strange new world of spirits. Chihiro must call upon the courage she never knew she had to free herself and return her family to the outside world.

The movie will be shown at the King County Fairgrounds' north parking lot on May 9. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 8.

The event is free, but moviegoers are asked to bring a donation of canned food for the local food bank.
