Relay crosses $100,000 mark

Enumclaw’s American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life committee and teams continue to watch their fundraising effort grow.

According to chairman Gretchen Waller, teams and individuals who participated in the Relay, which took place June 20 and 21 at J.J. Smith Elmenetary School, have raised more than $110,000 and money continues to arrive.

Relay For Life is an event that raises money for cancer research, as well as awareness for the disease and honors those with it.
