Public can weigh in on city’s logo
Members of the Enumclaw City Council will be taking public input on a proposed city logo before making a final decision.
The council was expected to address the logo – as recommended by the Brand Leadership Team – during Monday night’s council meeting. The logo will be on the council agenda again July 27; public comments will be taken at that meeting, followed by a council vote on the image. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 1339 Griffin Ave.
The logo developed by the BLT features a mountain in the background with a barn and silo in the foreground, accompanied by the words “Enumclaw, Washington.”
(Note: the logo printed in last week’s edition of The Courier-Herald was not the image being considered. It featured “X-type” barn doors that were not favored by the BLT. The correct image accompanies this article.)
