The 21st annual Buckley Firefighters Association Flashback car show will get the green light Saturday.

Participants can begin paying $15 registrations at 8 a.m. at the Buckley Log Show grounds.

The popular show-and-shine event features free admission for chrome and classic fans alike beginning at 10 a.m. There will be awards, prizes, contests and music; also, the Buckley Fire Department will be cooking breakfast and lunch.

Flashback is open to all classifications, including street rods, antiques, classics, customs and motorcycles.

The first 200 registrants will receive a snappy-looking dash plate and there will be 30 different award categories including Best Chevy, Best Ford, Best Flame Job, the Wild Card Award, Spectator’s Choice, Participant’s Choice and more. Special contests and raffles will be going on all day long and Flashback T-shirts will be available for $12.

The customary free Wally’s White River Drive-In Friday Night Flashback Party will take place from 6 to 9 p.m., when there will be the usual music, games, prizes and fun.

More information is available by calling 360-829-1441; for information about the Wally’s function, call 360-829-0871.

Flashback is sponsored by Buckley Automotive and Muffler.
