Interwest Development Northwest wants to become acquainted with the people on the Plateau.

The Buckley-based company will host a public open house from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, during which time company representatives will show people around the multi-million dollar, facility. Visitors will want to check out the state-of-the-art dispatch center, which can track the location of the company's trucks to within 10 feet, and the truck cab built into the wall of one of the offices, which features a slide-down grill of the cab that reveals a large-screen television.

Classic cars will be on display and there will be a free beer garden, free food and door prizes. Additionally, there will be a bounce house to occupy the little ones and a baseball speed gun machine to show off how fast guests can hurl a baseball.
