A funnel cloud that blew through Enumclaw last Sunday has been confirmed as a tornado by the National Weather Service, KOMO TV reports. The tornado has been classified an EF1 on the Enhanced Fujita scale, meaning it had (at least) sporadic three-second gusts of 86-110 mph.

This is the second time this year a funnel cloud has ripped through Enumclaw, though the one that hit in early September was never officially termed a tornado.
