Buckley area fire sends woman to hospital

A woman is at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after suffering injuries in a mobile home fire near Buckley this morning.

According to East Pierce Fire and Rescue, the fire broke was reported about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday as police were responding to a separate call at the same address in the 24000 block of 122nd St. E.

Firefighters broke through a window to rescue the woman and worked quickly to keep the flames from spreading to nearby homes.

Fire investigators are looking into what caused the fire.
