Two people were injured in a two-car accident Thursday at the intersection of state Route 410 and 254th Avenue East, between Bonney Lake and Buckley.

According to a Washington State Patrol report, a 1992 Oldsmobile, driven by 41-year-old Deborah Martin of Bonney Lake, was traveling westbound on SR 410 when it rear ended a 1983 Chevrolet pickup. The crash knocked the truck into the ditch.

The driver of the truck, 29-year-old Adam L. Wills of Buckley, was injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Martin also sustained injuries and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.

A passenger with Martin, a 12-year-old girl, was not injured.

State troopers said the accident was caused by defective tail lights on the truck. No charges have been filed.

Both drivers and the passenger were wearing seat belts, reported WSP.
