Man found dead from apparent suicide in Flaming Geyser Park

The King County Sheriff's Department reported a 38-year-old man was found dead at 9:45 a.m. today in Flaming Geyser Park near Black Diamond.

According to Sgt. John Urquhart, sheriff's department spokesman, the Auburn man was found by a visitor in the park.

The initial investigation indicates the man died from suicide.

The man was reported missing by family members yesterday.

The King County medical examiner will release an official statement on the cause of death.
