Relay For Life of Enumclaw invites the public to attend the event June 19 and 20 at J.J. Smith Elementary. Opening ceremonies begin at noon June 19 and Relay continues through the morning of June 20.

Everyone is invited to join Enumclaw and The American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer.

To honor the theme Rockin’ Through the Decades, people are encouraged to dress in outfits from their favorite music decade.

A silent auction will feature a pink Fender Stratocaster guitar and an autographed photograph taken by Bob Charlo, the internationally-known photographer.

Entertainment includes live music and a luminaria ceremony to remember loved ones. Relay teams will be hosting fundraisers.

“This has been another record-breaking year for Relay For Life,” said Relay chairwoman Gretchen Waller. “I hope the whole community can come and help us celebrate.”

Currently, 44 teams are registered – a record turnout for Enumclaw. The Relay has also raised more than $70,000 and expects to break last year’s record.
