Camp slots are open, available to Black Diamond youth

The Salvation Army has 10 pots available for Black Diamond youth ages 8 to 12 to attend Camp Arnold near Eatonville July 5-9.

Community Service Camps are an extension of service and ministry to the community. The curriculum has been designed to use nature and the outdoors as a setting to share the gospel, teach environmental awareness, encourage pro-social behavior and safely provide opportunity to every camper for fun and adventure.

Campers get to spend their days exploring more than 600 acres of nature trails near Mount Rainier, team up on the outdoor challenge course, swim in

the outdoor pool and make friends, all in a safe environment.

The camp is available to youth who are on free or reduced lunch at school. The camp fee is $30 for those who qualify. Applications are available at the Black Diamond Community Center. For more information call 360-886-1011. Applications are due back to the BDCC by July 1.
