Saturday and Sunday's rainy weather didn't dampen the spirits or fundraising for the American Cancer Society's Enumclaw Relay For Life. The more than 600 participants, 44 teams, and visitors pulled on their rain boots, grabbed their umbrellas and slogged around the J.J. Smith Elementary School track raising money and awareness for cancer research. According to the organization's Web site, the event raised more than $141,000 with the top fundraising team honors going to Enumclaw Rehabers with more than $20,000. The Law Dawgs were next at close to $10,000 with the Dutcher Family not far behind at nearly $9,000. Dolores VanHoof, Roberta Dutcher and Jan Johnson were noted as the top individual fundraisers.
