Pets get free exams in Black Diamond

A pair of veterinarians will give free wellness exams to pets from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 8.

The event is hosted by High Road Community Church, found at the corner of Sixth and Lawson in Black Diamond.

Giving the exams will be Dr. Heather Stewart with Carousel Mobile Veterinary Service and Dr. Jan White, doctor and owner of Sawyer Lake Veterinary Hospital.

This event is bill as ideal for those who may have older pets and pets with unexplained issues.

Pet product vendors and merchants will be on hand to share samples and new ideas for pets.

Also, rescue groups will be on hand to explain what they do and there may be some pets available for adoption.
