Action Day Camp registration is happening now

Campers are entitled to a free lunch from Daffodil Valley Elementary School food services under the Sumner School District summer lunch program.

The Sumner/Bonney Lake Recreation Department will again host Action Day Camp for students appropriately aged for kindergarten through fifth grade. Registration began April 2.

Each week of camp has a theme which carries over to a field trip and activities for the week. Themes include:

• “School’s Out for Summer”

• “Animal Planet”

• “Rock n’ Roller Skate” • “A Pirate’s Life for Me”

• “Crazy Concoctions & More”

• “Out of this World”

• “Let the Games Begin”

• “Survivor, Australia”

• “Extreme H20,” and

• “Where the Wild Things Are”

The cost of camp varies from $25 to $125 for the week, depending on that week’s activities.

Camp Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drop off is from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and pick up is from 4 to 6 p.m.

Action Day Camp will run from June 22 to Aug. 24.

To guarantee your child’s spot in camp, a $25-per-child-per-week deposit is required. Weekly deposits are deducted from total weekly registration costs. Deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
