ANNIVERSARY: Coynes celebrate 60 years with party at Eagles

Longtime Buckley residents Ray and Inez (Thieman) Coyne celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 24 at the Buckley Eagles. More than 200 guests attended the party that was hosted by their daughter Rhonda Dunlap and husband Jerry, son Dan Coyne and wife Darci, and daughter Teri Koch and husband Dave.

Longtime Buckley residents Ray and Inez (Thieman) Coyne celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 24 at the Buckley Eagles. More than 200 guests attended the party that was hosted by their daughter Rhonda Dunlap and husband Jerry, son Dan Coyne and wife Darci, and daughter Teri Koch and husband Dave.

The couple married Sept. 14, 1951, in Sumner at St. Andrew Catholic Church. He retired in 1990 from Bates Technical College in Tacoma, and she retired in 1991 from the White River School District.

They enjoy spending time with their children, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
