A complaint was received the afternoon of June 16 about a person sitting on a Cole Street bench and smoking marijuana. An officer counseled the person regarding the law and the individual returned to smoking tobacco.

VEHICLE PROWL: A theft from a vehicle at a 244th Avenue location was reported the afternoon of June 17. There were no immediate suspects.

BACK TO TOBACCO: A complaint was received the afternoon of June 16 about a person sitting on a Cole Street bench and smoking marijuana. An officer counseled the person regarding the law and the individual returned to smoking tobacco.

JUNE 18: Reports were taken involving a residential burglary on Cascade Street and a theft from a vehicle on SR 410. Other calls involved a residential burglar alarm on Main Street, a fight at a Sbeets Road address and a client walking from the Rainier School grounds. Police also responded to three vehicle collisions: two were minor, but a crash at 10:07 p.m. on Main Street resulted in unknown injuries.

JUNE 17: Police received two reports of activity involving narcotics at a highway address. Aside from that, most of the day’s activity came on local roads, where officers made 18 traffic stops.
