Editor’s note: The following is a release from the Bonney Lake Police Department.
The Bonney Lake Police Department is actively investigating a number of package thefts that have occurred from Nov. 20th to Nov. 26 within the city of Bonney Lake. These packages were taken from porches after being dropped off by UPS, Fed Ex, and USPS during daytime hours.
An investigation is underway and various suspect leads have been established. During the investigation, a surveillance video was turned over to detectives that showed a possible suspect. The suspect is a white male in his mid to late 30’s, wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown shoes. The suspect has short brown hair and a goatee. This individual is seen placing a package on the front porch of a Bonney Lake home, then leaving in a mid 90’s Green over Grey Jeep Cherokee. The package left by this suspect was reported stolen from another address earlier in the day. It is believed the suspect was not satisfied with the contents of the package and decided to dispose of it at this particular home.
This suspect vehicle has been seen in the area of other reported package thefts and by a UPS Driver. It has also been reported that the suspect vehicle is occupied by a white female riding in the passenger seat.
We ask for the public’s assistance in identifying this possible theft suspect and vehicle. If you see this vehicle or suspect, please be a good witness and notify the Bonney Lake Police Department. Please do not attempt to apprehend or make contact with these individuals.
