It’s just a few short hours until Relay For Life of Bonney Lake kicks off its first single-city relay on the Bonney Lake High School track.

The relay begins with a survivor’s lap at 6 p.m. Friday night and teams will continue to walk the track in shifts until noon Saturday, signifying that cancer never sleeps.

As of this writing, 31 teams and 228 individual participants have raised more than $40,100.
