Collision injures several who gathered to watch Enumclaw fireworks

Editor’s note: the following is a press release issued Tuesday afternoon by the Enumclaw Police Department. Enumclaw Police and Fire District 28 personnel responded to a vehicle collision involving

several vehicles and multiple bystanders’ in the parking lot of a closed business in the vicinity of

Farman St and Mountain View Drive on July 4th.

 

People had gathered at the parking lot to observe the 4th of July fireworks display.

 

One person was airlifted to Harborview Hospital, several transported to St Elizabeth Hospital,

and several others were treated and released at the scene.

 

The driver was identified at the scene and transported to the hospital. The Enumclaw Police

Department is conducting the investigation.
