Police took a report the afternoon of Nov. 1 about someone walking around the Battersby Avenue area, hitting signs and being confrontational. Officers contacted both the suspect and the reporting party; the suspect was counseled and the matter was settled.

CONFRONTATIONAL: Police took a report the afternoon of Nov. 1 about someone walking around the Battersby Avenue area, hitting signs and being confrontational. Officers contacted both the suspect and the reporting party; the suspect was counseled and the matter was settled.

RIDE HOME: A mother called police at 10:05 p.m. Oct. 31, seeking assistance in getting her intoxicated son under control. Officers responded to Stevenson Avenue and Cole Street and gave both a ride home.

AUTO STOLEN: An automobile was reported stolen from a Warner Avenue location the morning of Oct. 29. Soon after, the vehicle was located by Pierce County authorities.

IMPAIRED DRIVER: Police made a traffic stop at 9:29 p.m. Oct. 29 and wound up arresting the driver, who was booked for driving under the influence. The suspect posted bail and was released a few hours later. His vehicle was impounded.
