Police made contact at 1:40 a.m. June 27 with a city grocery store after learning a counterfeit $10 bill had been passed. The bill was taken and to be destroyed. There were no immediate suspects.

NO SALE: Police received three calls June 27 regarding solicitors working the area. Police contacted a manager, explained the prohibition against such selling in the city and were told the sales crew would leave the area.
The city is still seeing increases in revenue, but increases are smaller than previous years.
Make sure to drop your ballot off, or have it postmarked, by 8 p.m. on April 23.
