County deputies respond to home invasion robbery

Official details are few and far between.

Pierce County deputies responded to a Buckley-area residence the evening of Thursday, Nov. 14, after hearing of a home invasion robbery.

Information was sketchy in the days following the reported incident, other than county authorities were investigating the crime.

Early information indicated family members had been either tied or taped by unidentified suspects. The victims were apparently able to escape their bindings, get loose and notify police.

There was no immediate, official indication of a motive.
