Sumner teenagers can serve the community Tuesday, using their creative skills and a splash of finger dexterity.

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., teens will be able to knit, crochet or sew clothing items such as hats, scarves and blankets for donation to families in need. Students may earn community service credit toward their high school service learning requirements.

The Friends of the Sumner Library sponsors this free event and provides all supplies.
