Pierce County residents are asked to pause for 26 seconds of silence at noon Monday to remember Crystal Judson and reflect upon the need to end domestic violence.

Monday marks the seventh anniversary of the murder of Crystal Judson Brame by her estranged husband, Tacoma Police Chief David Brame. Staff from the Center are accepted proclamations from the Pierce County Council, the Bonney Lake city council and other Pierce County cities. The proclamation deems Monday as Domestic Violence Awareness Day.
