At 8 p.m., officers assisted Orting authorities who heard of a domestic violence incident possibly involving a weapon. Close to midnight, police made a pair of DUI stops on the highway. It was a busy day on local roads, with police making 24 traffic stops.

AUGUST 20: Officers were told of a possible abuse incident at a Cedar Street location, took a report of shots being fired outside the city limits and heard of a verbal domestic incident.

AUGUST 19: Police took a 4:42 a.m. report of threats being made at a Jefferson Avenue address and later assisted with a child custody issue.
