East Pierce Fire and Rescue IAFF Local No. 3520 announced their participation in Operation Warm today. Operation Warm provides children with new, American made winter coats.

According to the Operation Warm website, 18 percent of the children in Pierce County live in poverty. The gift of a winter coat can provide warmth and a boosted sense of self-esteem.
