ELECTION: Officials results released by Auditor’s Office

The Pierce County Auditor's Office released the officials results Nov. 23 of the Nov. 3 general election with no surprises.

The Pierce County Auditor’s Office released the officials results in city races in Bonney Lake and Sumner on Nov. 23 of the Nov. 3 general election with no surprises.

In the Bonney Lake City Council races, the official results show more than a 1,000-voter win for Randy McKibbin over Lynda Dabson for the Council-at-Large Position 1 seat.

Results show Dan Swatman defeated newcomer Andy Gomen, 404 to 325 voters for the Ward 1 council seat, while Donn Lewis received 343 votes to incumbent David Bowen’s 217 for the Ward 4 post.

Mayor Neil Johnson had 2,725 voter running unopposed for a second term.

In Sumner, the final count shows incumbent Mayor Dave Enslow with 1,304 votes to challenger Matt Richardson’s 1,191.

Incumbent Ed Hannus defeated Stuart Scheuerman, 1,280 to 977 for the Sumner Council Position 1 seat. Randy Hynek received 1,929 running unopposed for the Position 2 post and Steve Allsop got 1,862 unopposed for the Position 3 seat.
