Enumclaw city administrator reportedly takes post in San Juans

Enumclaw City Administrator Mike Thomas will be leaving his post to take over as county manager in San Juan County, according to Tuesday news reports.

Enumclaw City Administrator Mike Thomas will be leaving his post to take over as county manager in San Juan County, according to Tuesday news reports.

The San Juan County Council unanimously decided to offer Thomas the post, according to a story posted by The  Journal of the San Juans.

The newspaper reported Thomas will begin work June 24.

Thomas has been Enumclaw’s city administrator since 2010 and served as director of the city’s Department of Community and Economic Development for five years prior to that. He came to Enumclaw from King County government, where he was a policy analyst in the executive’s office.
