Do you have old automotive batteries that you need to get rid of? The Streetmasters’ Club needs to purchase four new batteries for their electric race car. These batteries cost $170 dollars each. Interstate Battery has offered to donate these batteries and all they ask for is that we run a collection drive for used batteries. Can you help us out? Please drop them off at the automotive shop, building 1033. Have a lot of them. We will pick them up. Thanks in advance for your support. Also, see you at the car show on June 1. More on that to follow.

Enumclaw FFA just finished exhibiting and selling their livestock animals at the Northwest Junior Livestock Show in Puyallup this past weekend. We had several class and overall champions including: Arlyn Wolanski, Levi Norton, Elliot Robbles, Samantha Lanting, Nathaniel Nelson, Rebecca Blake and John Lanting. We also received numerous awards for herdsmanship, outstanding record books, and John Lanting was the recipient this year for the Walt Bergman Award- a leadership and showmanship accolade. 13 students in all rasied over $14,000 from their projects. Think you might be interested in some of that money? Talk to an FFA member about how to get involved for next year!
