Attention Seniors,

Important Announcement:  The Donkey’s are still coming!  Donkey Basketball is TOMORROW, March 2nd at 6:00PM.  Are you interested in playing?  See Ms. Weinbecht in room 210.  Want to come watch? Admission for students is $5.00 for grades K-5, $7.00 for 7-12th grades, $9.00 for adults.  Also, if you would like to be an announcer at the Donkey game see Ms. Weinbrecht for more information.  See you on Saturday!

 

It’s that time of year! Are you interested in being part of the Executive Council at EHS? ASB Officer petitions will be available in the Activities/Athletics office on March 18th! Pick yours up and make a difference for our school!!

 

The FASTPITCH team is still looking for players – All Positions – Please get Athletic clearance paperwork  from the Athletics Office and come on out!!!

 

Attention National Honor Society applicants:  Your completed applications are due in to Mrs. Ross or Mrs. Sandfer TODAY at the end of the day.

 

The library and gym will be closed today during Core/Choice.  We have a Link Crew event going on. Freshmen need to meet their leaders in the gym as usual.

 

FCCLA is teaming up with “Prom Dreams” a local, non-profit organization that provides prom dresses and accessories for girls in our community.  So, ladies if you have a dress, jewelry, purse or shoes, please bring them to room 213 by Wednesday, March 13.  You’ll be recycling and help make someone’s prom special!  Thank you so much!

Information in Review:

Congrats to our FFA Sub-District Leadership CDE Competitors. We have 3 students qualified for districts and 2 alterantes. Samantha Lanting took 3rd place in prepared public speaking. Riley Campbell and Hunter Luedeke tied for 3rd place in Extemp Speaking. Levi Norton and Rebecca Blake are our alternates. Congrats and good luck at Districts!

CLUBS:

 

Native American /Alaskan Native Club meets monthly with no fees to participate. The group will learn leadership skills and participate in cultural events. If you have questions please see Cathy in the Counseling Center.

 

“ALL” EHS Students!!!!  The Enumclaw HS (EHS) Running Club has begun! If you are interested in joining, meet in front of the weight room at 2:55PM Monday through Thursday and Fridays at 1:45PM. This club will go through the rest of the school year. This free club is open to anyone interested and is Open to all abilities.  If you have questions Talk to Coach Stussy or Coach Trevor.

 

Spanish Club is a group that celebrates Hispanic and Latino culture and practices the use of the Spanish language.  The club is organized and ran by student leaders in the University of Washington Spanish class. Spanish club meets once a month in Profa. Stewart’s room 141 from 2:45-3:45.  Each month we learn and celebrate a topic related to Hispanic and/or Latino Heritage.  This is great place to meet friends, earn culture credit points, and have a good time.  Membership dues are $5.00 per semester.   2012/2013 dates: 3/14, 4/11, and 5/9.

 

Weight Club days and times for the winter season are now Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:45-4:00.  Join today!  Please pay the cashier $10.00 along with a signed weight club form.  Please see Coach Gunderson with any questions or Coach Murrell (Stussy)

The Enumclaw Clothing Bank:   We are open every Tuesday from 10am-6pm. (closed on school closures and holidays)  We are located at the JJ Smith building on Fell St. in the old library. Sheila Smith360-829-6605

 

YoungLife is on Monday nights at 7:37PM in Senior Locker Bay.  All students are welcome.

 

The Rainier Plateau Rugby Club is seeking both boys and girls for their teams. The season is just starting and will end in early May. No experience or knowledge of playing rugby is necessary and there are no tryouts or cuts. The teams practices on Monday and Wednesday nights 6pm – 8pm at Sumner, Bonney Lake and occasionally Auburn High Schools. To find about more on
