Enumclaw police reports Feb. 11-13

VOLUNTARY COMMIT: Officers responded Feb. 13 to a Cole Street address, as did medical personnel. One person was eventually transported to St. Frances Hospital on a voluntary commitment.

ASSAULT: An officer responded the morning of Feb. 12 to a Lafromboise Street residence and a report of an assault that had occurred. An investigation resulted in a female being arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: An employee reported Feb. 12 that the occupants of an apartment trashed their room, breaking the microwave oven and damaging the walls.

JEWELRY THEFT: Officers were told Feb. 11 that jewelry had been taken from a Gossard Street home. The reporting party identified a possible suspect and a report was taken.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Police took a report Feb. 11 of a suspicious person hanging around local parks and schools, apparently watching children. The suspect was linked with a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria. Extra police patrol was requested.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A man called police at 8:20 p.m. Feb. 11, reporting his wife had slapped him while they were driving in the vicinity of Griffin Avenue and Farrelly Street. The man drove to the police station to file a report and his wife left on foot. A report was taken.

PATIENT GONE: Security staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital called police Feb. 11 to report a man had left the hospital despite medical advice to the contrary. He had left on foot and could not be located.
