On April 26 officers ran a check on a parked car, revealing its registration expired at the end of 2014. Officers contacted the driver after he got back into his vehicle and drove away. By the way the driver was reacting to the stop, officers were concerned he was going to drive away, so officers asked the man to step out of the car.

EXPIRED REGISTRATION: On April 26 officers ran a check on a parked car, revealing its registration expired at the end of 2014. Officers contacted the driver after he got back into his vehicle and drove away. By the way the driver was reacting to the stop, officers were concerned he was going to drive away, so officers asked the man to step out of the car. The man did not provide officers with ID and officers told him he would be detained until an identity was found. The man provided his real name, which a record check revealed he did not have a valid drivers license and had two warrants out of King County. Officers transported the man to the Pierce County jail, where a search revealed his ID was in his shoe.

FORGERY: Officers were called April 27 to a report of a forged prescription. The reporting party told officers she told the man who was trying to fill the prescription that she did not have the medication, and the man left. The prescription paperwork was placed into a case file.
