CHICKENS ATTACKED: A Wilson Avenue resident notified police the afternoon of Sept. 8, reporting that dogs had attacked her chickens. An officer made contact and settled the situation.

SUSPICIOUS SHOPPER: Officers contacted an employee of a Roosevelt Avenue business the morning of Sept. 7 regarding a suspicious male shopper; he appeared ready to leave the store without paying for items. The man was confronted and elected to leave the store.

SLOW DOWN: Police received a request the morning of Sept. 6 to provide additional patrol during pick-up and drop-off times at Sunrise Elementary School. The police presence was sought due to subjects speeding and tailgating through the area when children are in the area.
