False Statement: Officers ran a random records check on a vehicle driving down Church Lake Road. The check showed a warrant for the driver’s arrest. When speaking with the driver he told officers the wrong name, he used his brother’s name and didn’t have identification on him to prove otherwise. After speaking with dispatch and another officer, they determined that he had given a false name and he had done this before. After speaking further with dispatch, officers learned he had four outstanding warrants. He was cited with driving with a license suspended, providing a false statement and an infraction for failing to provide proof of insurance. Officers transported him to the Puyallup jail where he was booked on these charges as well as his other four warrants including driving under the influence.
