The men and women who have served our country in the armed forces have made great sacrifices. When their service is over, it’s our responsibility to help build a bridge back to civilian life.

With joblessness higher among veterans in Washington than the overall United States, the Legislature created a new incentive for businesses to hire unemployed veterans with the goal of reducing the veteran unemployment rate by 30 percent.
